ABU DHABI, UAE

His Excellency Eng. Mohammad Juma bin Jarsh Al Falasi, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE), said: “UAE Flag Day is an important national occasion to rally our efforts and promote a sense of responsibility and citizenship among all Emiratis. It is an opportunity to renew our pledge of allegiance, belonging, and loyalty to this country.”

“Flag Day reminds us of the values and principles championed by the Rulers of the Emirates that embody the spirit of the Union and that launched a journey of inspiring accomplishments over the past 50 years, making an indelible mark on human civilisation, and reaching outer space – all of which are astonishing achievements that present and future generations can be proud of,” H.E. added.

“Celebrating UAE Flag Day on November 3rd of every year is an affirmation of the connection the Emirati people feel with the profound meanings the flag represents,” H.E. Al Falasi added. “It is a chance to deepen the connection that children feel to their history and the Founding Fathers, and an incentive to keep marching on this journey behind our wise leadership.”
