Awaidha Murshed Al Marar, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE), asserted that the Hope Probe’s success in its mission to enter Mars’ orbit sets a historic milestone and gives inspiration to future generations. “It embodies the unwavering commitment and strong will of our leadership and our people, adamant to achieve progress and prosperity and to play our role in the global efforts to explore better opportunities for mankind in the future,” he said.

“The Hope Probe is a mission that brings hope to all of mankind,” H.E. added. “With its successful launch and as it enters operation in the Martian orbit, the UAE embarks on a new era of progress, playing a significant role alongside an elite group of spacefaring nations to find solutions for the challenges to settling the red planet.”

“We have complete confidence in our highly qualified human resources to address all challenges, we aspire for the Hope Probe to mark the beginning of a new era in the UAE’s scientific and civilisational development,” the DoE Chairman concluded. “We look forward to enriching science and advanced technology, enhancing the UAE’s competitiveness across all sectors, and shaping a better future for coming generations.”
